"The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas", yes! I really loved her Wizard of Earthsea books, which are fantasy, and The Left Hand of Darkness is my favorite of her SF. There are several short stories in the same universe as Left Hand. The Dispossessed made a big emotional impression on me but I don't remember much of the plot -- it left me kind of sad. The Lathe of Heaven is cool and weird.

I read all of these many years ago (we're talking decades here) so I can only offer these general impressions, but I hope you find something to like.
