Weekly Writing and Reading Update
Feb. 24th, 2019 04:16 pmFor the last two weeks, oops, sorry guys!
Writing:
I feel like I wrote so much! Or that it’s coming easier now! I dunno, go figure. Anyway:
A Winter Spirit: This was actually pretty cool, and I think evidence that I’m becoming a somewhat better writer. I basically spit out three paragraphs, read them over, and then sat down to actually write them, and that was the chapter I posted this week. I’m really proud of what I got out. I think this story only has one more chapter to go, though.
Trope-a-riffic: Agh, fuck, this needs a title soon. I had a big revelation over Bucky’s job and I’m glad I’m writing a lot before I post, so I could go back and change things. Anyway, I love the boys in this, I love that I’m writing about things I adore, and I think it’ll be really awesome. I want to get further in, but I reckon I’ll start posting sooner rather than later.
Yet Needed Most, I Bring: Added a bit more. I re-read the previous chapters today, and I think I have a better handle on how Bucky is when he subs, and what he gets out of medical play, so hoping to go back to this soon.
Reading-wise:
I finished Mrs Dalloway and...just, yeah. It’s been a long time since I read it, and I forgot how complex it is, and how much is going on. I want to read it again soon, but slower. I also whipped through Clouds of Witness because I require a certain level of Lord Peter Death Bredon Wimsey in my life to function properly. It’s such a lovely book, too.
